the
schooper
was
discharging
cargo and expected
to sail ina f2w hours.
The Creole
will sail again
for St.
'homas
about midday
today taking mail.

from

mateh

was advertised
and
so
far
settied.
But on'New
Year’s
Day
about
12.30,
I
was
informed
by
6of the best
playing
members
that
they
were
un-
able
to play the
afternoon;
not that they
were afraid,
for [ am quite sure

eleven
playing
members
are
capabjle
of
handling
the
Dreadnought.
I dont
say
we can give them
a thrashing,
but
I
am
sure that they cannot

After
I
was
informed
by
the
members
that
they
were
unable

disappointed,

to go and

takers,

sugar

to
have

sugar

to them, but
the Canadian

Commission

not
sanction
its export, if the people at home
will use yellow sugar
