An Act appropriating $90,000 from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the 
Virgin Islands to the Virgin Islands Department of Human Services to purchase all-in-one 
mobile health, wellness, and personal safety devices for Virgin Islands senior citizens and other 
vulnerable residents, and to pay the annual service associated with maintenance of the devices

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  (a) The sum of $75,000 is appropriated in the fiscal year ending September 
2 
30, 2024, from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands to 
3 
the Virgin Islands Department of Human Services to purchase Numera® Libris® 2mPERS all-
4 
in-one mobile health, wellness, and personal safety devices, and $15,000 is appropriated to pay 
5 
the annual service fee for the devices.

(b) 
The funds remain available until expended.
