SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Tsunami Forecasting 
2
and Warning Improvement Act of 2013’’. 
3
SEC. 2. IMPROVEMENT OF TSUNAMI FORECASTING AND 
4
WARNING PROGRAM. 
5
(a) IN GENERAL.—Section 4(d)(1) of the Tsunami 
6
Warning and Education Act (33 U.S.C. 3203(d)(1)) is 
7
amended— 
8
(1) in subparagraph (B) by striking ‘‘and’’ 
9
after the semicolon; 
10
(2) by redesignating subparagraph (C) as sub-
11
paragraph (D); and 
12
(3) by inserting after subparagraph (B) the fol-
13
lowing: 
14
‘‘(C) a Caribbean Tsunami Warning Cen-
15
ter in Puerto Rico; and’’. 
16
(b) EFFECTIVE DATE.—The amendments in sub-
17
section (a) shall apply 90 days after the date of enactment 
18
of this Act.
