Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  (a) The sum of $1,000,000 is appropriated in the fiscal year ending 
2 
September 30, 2026, from the Community Facilities Trust Fund, established in the Agreement 
3 
between Diageo USVI, Inc. and the Government of the Virgin Islands, dated June 17, 2008, and 
4 
ratified by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands in Act No. 7012, to the Virgin Islands Diabetes 
5 
Center of Excellence to finance the establishment of the Chronic Care Management Program.

(b) 
The Virgin Islands Diabetes Center of Excellence shall comply with the financial 
7 
disclosure requirements of title 2 Virgin Islands Code, section 29 in expending the funds 
8 
appropriated by this act.

(c) 
The sum appropriated in subsection (a) remains available until expended.

BILL SUMMARY 
1 
This bill appropriates $1,000,000 from the Community Facilities Trust Fund to the Virgin 
2 
Islands Diabetes Center of Excellence to finance the establishment of the Chronic Care 
3 
Management Program in fiscal year 2026.  The appropriation supports the development and 
4 
implementation of programs and services aimed at improving chronic disease management and 
5 
remains available until expended.
