AMENDMENT TO BILL NO. 36-0039

Bill No. 36-0039 is amended in section 1 as follows: 
(a) 
In line 2, strike “subsection (a)”; 
(b) 
In line 4, insert “In subsection (a),” after “(a)” and strike letter “(b)” in line 5; 
(c) 
Add the following new subsection (b): 
“(b) After 40 feet, strike ‘or more’ and add ’and $205 on flat rack containers that 
measure 45 feet in length’ before ‘except’.” 
(d) 
Add the following new subsection (c): 
“(c) Subsection (e) is amended by striking all the language after “shall be” and 
inserting “allocated as follows: 
(1) 
Fifty percent shall be deposited into the General Fund of the 
Government of the Virgin Islands; and 
(2) 
Fifty percent shall be deposited into the Anti-Litter and Beautification 
Fund established under title 33 Virgin Islands Code, section 3079 of which twenty-
five percent must be used for garbage collection, solid waste trash removal, and 
territory wide beautification and twenty-five percent to fund a territorial Anti-Litter 
Beautification Summer Program within the Virgin Islands Waste Management 
Authority.”
