Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  Title 5 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 305, section 3561, subsection (a), is

amended by inserting “, enforcement officers of the Government Employees Retirement 
3 
System of the Virgin Islands” after “Governor Juan F. Luis and Roy L. Schneider Hospitals”.

BILL SUMMARY

This bill adds enforcement officers of the Government Employees Retirement System to

the category of persons designated as peace officers in the Virgin Islands.
