Sample Descriptions: SAMPLING TRIP REPORT Virgin Island Chemical Site 078-2PN7 February 15 & February 16, 1995 23237 St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands See Tables 1 & 2 CDM Programs Corporation (CDM Federal) accepted two split ground water samples and submitted them for analysis of Target Compound List (TCL) volatUe organic compounds, semivolatiles organic compounds, pesticide/PCBs, and Target Analyte List (TAL) total metals and cyanide. One field blank was also submitted for TCL/TAL analysis. One trip blank was also submitted for TCL VOA. Samples for TCL pesticide/PCBs and TAL cyanide were submitted to Contract Labortory Program laboratories for routine analytical services (RAS). Samples for the remaining parameters were submitted to EPA's ESD Laboratories for analysis. The samples were collected by the PRP's contractor, Harding Lawson Asscx;iates (HLA). It should be noted that due to sampling difficulties, CDM Federal missed the last Federal Express shipment off of St. Croix. The split samples, MW3 and RWGW021595, were shipped the following day with spUt sample MWl. The samples were stored on ice untU the next day's shipment. Sample numbers, locations, matrix types, airbill numbers and sampling and shipping dates are provided in Tables 1 and 2. Copies of the Federal Express Airbills and Organic and Inorganic Traffic Report and Chain of Custody Records are included as Attachment I.
