U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS —I join the people of the Virgin Islands in extending warm Mother’s Day greetings to all mothers across our Territory.

“Before many of us understood what sacrifice meant, we saw it in our mothers.”

We saw it in the early mornings, the long days, the quiet prayers, and the countless ways they put their children’s needs ahead of their own.

On this Mother’s Day, we honor every mother, grandmother, and woman who has embraced the responsibility of nurturing, guiding, and caring for others.

The Virgin Islands is stronger because of the women who show up every day with love, patience, and an unwavering belief in the next generation.

Thank you for all that you do to shape our families, our communities, and the future of our Territory.

Happy Mother’s Day, and may God continue to bless you and your families.
