Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  The following sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are

appropriated from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands 
3 
for the operating expenses, including maintenance, supplies and equipment, and other purposes 
4 
of the Virgin Islands Government Hospitals and Health Facilities Corporation for the fiscal 
5 
year October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024.

BILL SUMMARY

This bill provides for a $62,000,000 appropriation from the General Fund of the

Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands, of which $31,750,000 is being

appropriated to the Roy Lester Schneider Regional Medical Center and $30,250,000 is being 
4 
appropriated to the Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center for the fiscal year ending 
5 
September 30, 2024.
