WHEREAS, the Governor of the Virgin Islands, executed a lease between the

Government of the Virgin Islands, through the Virgin Islands Department of Property and

Procurement and Pro Mar Services, Inc. for Parcels No. 149-2, 159A, and 159-1 Submarine 
3 
Base, No. 6 Southside Quarter, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, and Parcel No. 159 Remainder, 
4 
Southside Quarter, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, collectively consisting of approximately 30,161 
5 
sq. ft. or 0.3567 U.S. acres, as shown on O.L.G. Maps No. A9-770-T012, D9-8689-T012, D9-
6 
8689-T012 and D9-8689-T012, respectively; 
7 
WHEREAS, the premises are leased for an initial term of 10 years with an option to 
8 
renew for two additional five-years terms;  
9 
WHEREAS, the leased premises are to be used to operate a marine surveyor and 
10 
consulting business and for no other purpose whatsoever;

WHEREAS, title 31 Virgin Islands Code, section 205, subsection (c) requires all leases 
1 
of government real estate for a term exceeding one year in addition to being approved by the 
2 
Governor, must be submitted to and approved by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands;  
3 
WHEREAS, the Legislature intends to approve the lease between the Government of 
4 
the Virgin Islands and Pro Mar Services, Inc.; Now Therefore, 
5 
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 
6 
SECTION 1.  Pursuant to title 31 Virgin Islands Code, section 205, subsection (c), the 
7 
Legislature of the Virgin Islands approves the lease agreement between  the Government of the 
8 
Virgin Islands, and Pro Mar Services, Inc. for Parcels No. 149-2, 159A and 159-1 Submarine 
9 
Base, No. 6 Southside Quarter, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and Parcel No. 159 Remainder, 
10 
Southside Quarter, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, collectively consisting of approximately 30,161 
11 
sq. ft. or 0.3567 U.S. acres, more or less,  as shown on O.L.G. Maps No. A9-770-T012, D9-
12 
8689-T012, D9-8689-T012 and D9-8689-T012, respectively, for an initial term of 10 years 
13 
with the option to renew the lease for two additional five-years terms.  The premises is to be 
14 
used to operate a marine surveyor and consulting business and for no other purpose whatsoever.
