Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  Pursuant to the authority conferred on the Legislature of the Virgin Islands 
2 
by section 7(a) of the Revised Organic Act of the Virgin Islands, 48 U.S.C. § 1573(a), to change 
3 
the commencement date of the annual regular session of the Legislature, the 2024 regular 
4 
session of the Legislature of the Virgin Islands commences on January 22, 2024.

BILL SUMMARY 
6 
This bill changes the date of the commencement of the 2024 annual session from the 
7 
second Monday in January to the fourth Monday in January.
