July 27 Employees to receive payroll as normal Thursday morning US VIRGIN ISLANDS— The Virgin Islands Department of Finance issued the following statement on a technical glitch that caused a delay in direct deposit payments to Government Employees Thursday: The Department of Finance has discovered and resolved a technical glitch early Thursday morning causing a slight delay in direct deposit payroll payments to government employees. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences this delay may have caused and assure government employees will receive their direct deposit payments by noon.
