Dad, I will always cherish the time we spent together as I grew from a boy to a man. I saw you set the bar high for how to be a caring family man dedicated to the support and comfort of Mom and my four brothers. I learned from you that love, understanding, humor, humility, and, most importantly time, are the greatest gifts I can offer Yolanda and our daughters Aliyah and Sumayah. Thank you for such valuable lessons.

Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers and father-figures in the Virgin Islands. Know that your actions will always impact your children in profound ways. Let them feel secure in your love.
