Specifically, Soria was convicted of smuggling or attempting to smuggle from the United States to Mexico firearms as defined in Category I of the United States Munitions List, without a license or written authorization. As a result of his conviction, the Court sentenced Soria to 50 months of confinement, with credit for time served, 3 years of supervised release, $100 assessment and $1,000 criminal fine.
