Man Arrested After Ex-Girlfriend Identified Him as her Assailant   
St. Thomas, USVI - On Thursday, February 7, 2023, at about 6:30 p.m., Mr. Kamoy 
Williams, 27-years-old, was placed under arrest after his ex-girlfriend identified him as the 
person who assaulted her. The female victim stated that on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 
about 6:20 p.m., Mr. Williams came to her residence to drop off their minor child. The victim 
said that Mr. Williams became upset and grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the ground. 
On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, Mr. Williams voluntarily turned himself in and was charged 
with Simple Assault-DV and Disturbance of the Peace-DV. No bail was set and he was 
remanded to the Bureau of Corrections, pending his Advise of Rights Hearing. 
This case is presently under investigation by the Domestic Violence Bureau. Anyone having
