NEWS IMMEDIATE RELEASE August 19, 2015   USVI Pesticide Applicator Recertification Workshops The University of the Virgin Islands Cooperative Extension Service’s Pesticide Safety Education Program announces Pesticide Applicator Recertification Workshops on St. Thomas on Tuesday, August 25 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the UVI Neil Weiss Education Classroom located in the West Hall and on St. Croix on Thursday, August 27 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Research and Extension Center, Room 133. The workshops will be conducted by Dr. Hipólito O'Farrill-Nieves, Extension Entomologist, Agricultural Extension Service, College of Agricultural Sciences, University of Puerto Rico. All pesticide applicators, especially certified applicators, are encouraged to attend this important workshop.
