PROVIDING
FOR
A HEARSKE
AND
DRIVER FORCHRISTIANSTED AND
FOR A HORSE, HEARSE AND DRIV-
ER FOR
FREDERIKSTED.
1.
That
a norse
and hearse
or carriage
part
and driver
shall be provid:d
to
be
used
at
the
funerals of
the
poor
and
paupers
and
those
who
are
unable
to
otherwise
provide necessary
conveyance
in Christiansted
and
Frederiksted
Towns
and environments.
2.
The
care
and
control of the
above
shall
be
under
the
Prisor.
Departmeat
who
shall
provide for and
take
care
of
the horses
and conveyances
and maintain
the same
in an orderly manner.
3.
Applications
for
the
use
of
the
horses,
hearses
and
drivers
shall
be
made
to the
Chairman
of the
Poor
Com-
mission
of Christiansted
and
Fredem_k-
sted
who
shall
give
the
necessary
In-
structions
and
see
that
thie
horses
he
rses
and drivers
are proviced.
Thus
duly passed
at the
4'h Ordinary
Meeting
of
the
Colonial
Council
held
Monday.
