Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  (a) The sum of $1,443,630 is appropriated in the fiscal year ending 
2 
September 30, 2024, from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin 
3 
Islands to the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center to assist in purchasing 
4 
dialysis machines and chairs, a reverse osmosis water system, medication, supplies, and to fund 
5 
staff salaries.

(b) 
The sum appropriated in subsection (a) remains available until expended.

BILL SUMMARY

This bill provides an appropriation from the General Fund of the Treasury of the

Government of the Virgin Islands to the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center to
