PUBLIC NOTICE 
 
The Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) is hereby 
demanding the removal of the sailing vessel “Shameless” with Registration 
# NO-905471 currently grounded on the waterfront apron area of St. 
Thomas, Virgin Islands since August 14, 2024. 
 
Pursuant Title 25, Sections 404 and 408 of the Virgin Islands Code, you are 
hereby directed to remove the vessel within fourteen (14) calendar days 
from the posting date of this notice. Failure to comply with this directive 
will result in the vessel being classified as derelict and abandoned, and 
may subject it to seizure, removal, disposal, and/or forfeiture under 
applicable laws and regulations. 
 
Please be advised that noncompliance may result in civil penalties, 
administrative fines, and other enforcement actions as authorized by law. 
These measures may be taken without further notice should the vessel 
remain in violation beyond the prescribed timeframe.    
 
We strongly encourage your immediate attention to this matter to avoid 
unnecessary legal proceedings or additional costs. Should you have any
