DELAY IN RETIREES RECEIVING PAPER CHECKS FOR DATE AUGUST 31,2022 
 
 
GERS Administrator, Austin L. Nibbs, would like to advise the 135 retirees out of the 8,727 
retirees who receive their annuity by paper checks, that there will be a delay in receiving their 
August 31, 2022, annuity payment.  
 
We are experiencing an alignment issue with a new printer that was recently placed in 
production. Our software provider is working diligently to rectify the problem.
