ORDER

WHEREAS, on November 16, 2012, the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority

C“WAPA” or the “Authority”) filed with the Public Services Commission (“PSC” or “Commission”)

Petitions for an Annual Revenue Increases in the Base Rates for both the Electric Department and the

Water Department (respectively, Docket 612 and Docket 613); and

WHEREAS, at the Commission’s December 12, 2012 meeting, the Commission suspended

the requested rate increases for a period not to exceed 8 months, in order to permit the investigation



of the requested rate increases; and
