AN ACT 
To amend Public Law 93–435 with respect to the Northern 
Mariana Islands, providing parity with Guam, the Virgin 
Islands, and American Samoa.

SECTION 1. AMENDMENT.

(a) IN GENERAL.—The first section and section 2 of 
2
Public Law 93–435 (48 U.S.C. 1705, 1706) are amended 
3
by inserting ‘‘the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana 
4
Islands,’’ after ‘‘Guam,’’ each place it appears. 
5
(b) REFERENCES TO DATE OF ENACTMENT.—For 
6
the purposes of the amendment made by subsection (a), 
7
each reference in Public Law 93–435 to the ‘‘date of en-
8
actment’’ shall be considered to be a reference to the date 
9
of the enactment of this section.

SEC. 2. ADJUSTMENT OF SCHEDULED WAGE INCREASES IN 
11
THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE NORTHERN 
12
MARIANA ISLANDS.

Section 8103(b)(1)(B) of the Fair Minimum Wage 
14
Act of 2007 (29 U.S.C. 206 note; Public Law 110–28) 
15
is amended by striking ‘‘2011’’ and inserting ‘‘2011, 
16
2013, and 2015’’.
