Re:  Invitation to Testify – Legislative Hearing on Youth Mental Health and Public Safety 
 
Dear Senator-At-Large Bolques, 
 
This letter serves to convey my apologies for my inability to submit testimony to the Committee on 
Culture, Youth, Aging, Sports, and Parks for the Committee Hearing on Youth Mental Health and 
Public Safety, scheduled for 10:00 am tomorrow, Friday, October 31, 2025 at the Fritz E. Lawaetz 
Legislative Chamber on St. Croix. 
 
I am currently out of the country and am experiencing both internet and power conversion issues. Once 
these problems are fixed, I will send my testimony, though it may occur after the Hearing. 
 
In addition, as previously conveyed via email through Ms. Torres, a representative from LEPC will not 
be in attendance due to the staff person responsible for this portfolio just having been onboarded earlier 
this month, and the areas outlined for discussion are best addressed by me.
