SNAP Certification unit closure: DHS Division of Family Assistance Announces a 
partial day closure of the SNAP Certification Units Territory-wide.   
 
U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS - The Virgin Islands Department of Human Services (VIDHS), Division of Family 
Assistance (DFA) is advising the community that the SNAP Certification units in the STT and STX districts 
will have an office closure on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 8:00am to 12:00pm to allow staff the opportunity 
to attend a mandatory training. The unit will resume operations to the public at 1:00pm. 
 
The VI Department of Human Services apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this partial closure. For 
any inquiries or further information, please contact the Division of Family Assistance, Certification Unit at
