REVIEW OF THE TENURE POLICY



(Board of Trustees meeting, March 20, 1988)



The Board adopted the following statement regarding



tenure track prepared by Attorney Samuel Hall which reads:



"Individuals in the seventh year of a nontenure track



position who have received a letter of nonreappointment



shall have their letter of nonreappointment cancelled and



shall be offered a contract for the 1988-89 academic year,



during which period the nontenure track policy of the



University shall be reviewed.
