A BILL
To amend the Revised Organic Act of the Virgin Islands
to provide for the appointment of a United States mar-
shal by the President.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

That (a) section 24(c) of the Revised Organic Act of the
3
Virgin Islands (48 U.S.C. 1614(c)) is amended by striking
4
‘‘Attorney General’’ and inserting ‘‘President’’.
5
(b) The amendment made by subsection (a) shall
6
apply to appointments of United States marshal for the

Act.
