Question 1: Please provide specifications for cistern access doors.



Response: See attached specifications for cistern access door.



Question 2: Please indicate means of access to cistern’s roof.

Response: Access to cistern’s roof will be via a portable ladder. DPW Maintenance



staff will be responsible for access to the roof top.



Question 3: At Bid Breakdown, Division 03000 calls for Cast in place pad for vehicular

wash area. Please indicate location and dimensions for the same.



Response: A dedicated vehicular wash area was eliminated from the design. All

vehicles will be washed within the interior envelope of the building. Please disregard



that line item. A revised bid schedule eliminating that item will be provided.



Question 4: At Bid Breakdown, Division 04000 call for 8” CMU separation wall. Wall

Details on drawingA5.0 does not include a CMU wall description. Please provide length,

height and location for this wall.



Response: There is no 8” CMU separation wall in this project. A revised bid schedule



will be provided.



Question 5: Please indicate if Wall Details on drawing S2.0 will be included as part of this

Bid.

Response: The wall details on sheet S2.0 are included as part of this bid. A revised bid



schedule including these items will be included in the revised bid schedule.

Question 6: We understand that the following items will not be included in this Bid:

Earth movement, retaining wall, asphalt and concrete pavement, parking spaces, wheel

stops, bollards, doors and windows, hardware, gypsum walls and furring, acoustical

ceilings, ceramic floor and wall tiles, bathroom accessories, millwork, lockers, toilet

partitions, lettering, signs and painting.



Response: Concrete pavement and earthwork required for the placement of the exterior



side walk is included as part of bid alternated number 1.



Clarification Statement 1: All miscellaneous items shall be included in each bid item

depicted on the attached bid schedule.



Clarification Statement 2: Exterior sheathing shall run the full distance from the

building’s eave to the building’s base over windows or doors frame openings.



Clarification Statement 3: Door and window miscellaneous framing shall be installed

as part of this contract.
