the
pro-
perty during the
year,

stating
the
time when such” buildings
were
first oc-
cupied.

In order that reduction
can
be obtain-
ed
in
the
taxes
for dwelling houses,
warehouses
and
sheds,
which
have
been
unoccuyied
for two months
and upwards,
the Con'mission
would
particularly draw
the
atténtion
of
those.
parties
desiring
reduction,
that
it
is
very
necessary
in
such
cases
that certificates
tothat effect
be
produced,
stating
that the
.houses,
sheds,
etc.
have been
vacant
during said
period.
It Must Be Specially Observed:
Persons
neglecting
to procure the
information
and proof
d scribed by
she regulation
in the
above shape,

ascribe
to
their own
neglect
all losses
result-
ing therefrom.

As

to deliver their
taxlists,
the
Commission
begs
to
announce
that
taxlists
will not
be
reeceived
for
any
quarter,
at
any
other time or place
than above
sta-
ted.
In
case
persons
neglect
tc
deliver
a
taxlist
for any estate
in
due time, the
Conamission
will,
be-
fore closing
the meeting,
assess
the
tax for said
estate
according
to the
best
of
its
knowledge.
Taxlists
which
are
forwarded
later
to
the
Commission,
will, together
with
a
list of those
estates.
that have
omit-
ted
to
send
in
their
taxlists,
be
transmitted
to the
Government,
in
order that other measures
be taken.
Blanks
for
taxlists
will be
dis-
tributed
some
days
previous
to the
meeting
of
the
Tax
Commission
and
are
required
to be accurately
filled out
by
the parties concerned
and
delivered
to
the
(ommission
on the day which is fixed for
each
street in the town and each quarter
in the country.
