November 6 US VIRGIN ISLANDS — Governor Albert Bryan Jr issued the following statement Wednesday on the passing of Kenneth Blake Sr.: “I was saddened to learn of Blakie’s passing while in Washington, DC, over the weekend. Since then, I have spoken with a number of Virgin Islanders who expressed how important he was to them and the importance of his contributions to Carnival and our culture.
