CIB Executes Warrant; Arrests Robbery Suspect 
 
St. Croix, USVI – On March 1, 2023, the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report of a 
robbery that occurred in the Estate Concordia (Frederiksted) area. Members of the Criminal 
Investigation Bureau were assigned to investigate this matter. Investigation revealed that the 
victim was robbed by Mr. Adam Bruce who physically assaulted him and stole his cellular 
phone.  
 
On April 20, 2023, an arrest warrant was obtained from the Superior Court charging Mr. 
Bruce with Robbery in the Second Degree.  
 
Members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau executed the warrant on April 28, 2023, on 
35-year-old Adam Bruce. Bruce was placed under arrest at 8:55 a.m. without incident. His 
bail was set at $75,000.00 by an Honorable Superior Court Judge. Mr. Bruce was booked and 
unable to post the bail set, he was then transported to the John Bell Correctional Facility 
pending his Advice of Rights Hearing set for May 1, 2023, at the Superior Court.
