WHEREAS, Minor Coastal Zone Permit No. CZX-21-22(W) was issued by the St. Croix

Committee of the Virgin Islands Coastal Zone Management Commission to Teague Paradise, 
2 
LLC. on February 2, 2024, and approved by the Governor of the Virgin Islands on April 2, 
3 
2024; 
4 
WHEREAS, Minor Coastal Zone Permit No. CZX-21-22(W) authorizes the redesign 
5 
and size reduction of an existing 338 sq. ft. dock, to a 268 sq. ft. dock seaward of Plot 20, 
6 
Teague Bay, Christiansted, St. Croix, Virgin Islands; 
7 
WHEREAS, pursuant to 12 V.I.C. § 911(f), Teague Paradise, LLC shall pay a rental fee 
8 
of $3,200 per year, payable annually in advance; 
9 
WHEREAS, the Coastal Zone Management Act requires the Legislature of the Virgin 
10 
Islands to approve of coastal zone permits for the occupancy and development of trust lands or 
11 
other filled and submerged lands; and  
12

WHEREAS, title 12, Virgin Islands Code, section 911(e) provides that the Governor's 
1 
approval of any coastal zone permit or lease issued pursuant to section 911 must be ratified by 
2 
the Legislature of the Virgin Islands; Now, Therefore, 
3 
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 
4 
SECTION 1.  Pursuant to 12 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 21, section 911(e), the 
5 
Legislature of the Virgin Islands ratifies the Governor’s April 2, 2024, approval of Minor 
6 
Coastal Zone Permit No. CZX-21-22 (W), issued to Teague Paradise, LLC. by the St. Croix 
7 
Committee of the Virgin Islands Coastal Zone Management Commission on February 2, 2024.
