       ST. CROIX ELECTIONS OFFICE REMAINS CLOSED DUE TO AIR 
QUALITY ISSUES FOLLOWING DIESEL FUMES EXPOSURE 
        
“The St. Croix District Office located at Sunny Isle Annex Unit 4, remains closed until further 
notice as we deal with a safety and health issue related to the release of diesel fumes from a 
generator cleaning,” states Supervisor Fawkes. The Office of the Supervisor continues to work 
with the respective local government agencies, OSHA and Department of Planning and Natural 
Resources as well as Sunny Isles Management on resolving this issue. 
 
“At this time, we are seeking temporary office space, to enable staff to conduct temporary off-
site voter registration in the interim,” states Fawkes.
