Search Warrant Yields Live Ammunition and Illegal Drugs   
 
St. Croix, USVI - On Friday, January 13, 2023 at 4:55 a.m., members of the Criminal 
Investigation Bureau, Special Operation Bureau, U.S. Marshals, A.T.F. and H.I.D.T.A. 
members executed search warrants at a residence in Pepper Tree Terrace in connection to the 
homicide investigation of Bradley Maxwell that occurred on December 28, 2022. During the 
search live ammunitions and illegal drugs were recovered. At 5:44 a.m., Mr. Edelfonso 
Garcia, age 45, was arrested and advised of his Miranda Rights. He is charged with 
Possession or Sale of Ammunition, and Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to 
Distribute with a bail set at $7,500.00. He was booked and unable to post bail, he was 
transported to the John Bell Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility where he was 
remanded pending his Advice of Rights Hearing on Monday January 16, 2023, at the 
Superior Court.
