AVIATION IN
THE
WEST
INDIES.
Not long
ago
a svndicate
was
formed
by
a group of British
firms
for the
pro-
motion of
civil flying in
the Bermudas,
and the
new company
has
now been
re-
gistered
in the United Kingdom,
says
the
l.ondon
Times.
The Bermudas
will
find their
greatest
chanee
of develepment
when
an air route
is established
from north
to south.
Such
a route
is
not without
promise
of
very
great importance.
There
is talk now
of
closer union between
the Dominion of Can-<.
ada
and
all
the British
colonies in
the
west Atlantic and
on
the
Continents
of
America.
If this
project
materializes
there
will ohviously be
need for an

between
Canada
anc
the
West
Indies,
and
such
communica-
tion can only
be
by
sea
or
air.
