1. On Item No. 9 of the bid schedule, does the Hazard mitigation stands for the Gabion

baskets retaining wall, installation only and nothing else is involved? Please confirm

this.



Response: Hazard mitigation covers all cost associated with the installation of the

Gabion baskets.



2. No road paint or stripping is mentioned on this scope, is this not necessary to include

a cost for it on the road 2" overlay, on item no. 6 of bid schedule?



Response: There will be no stripping.



3. On Item no.7, what does CEF Cost Estimate stands for? Is this the cost for preparing

this proposal?



Response: Cost Estimating Format (CEF) allows the estimator to take into account

special factors, such as local prices, plan checks, building permits, and special

reviews. All this is done so that the estimator can have a better reflection of the city

cost index.



4. On Item no.8, is the direct Admin. Cost the cost for administrate this job? Is this the

cost for us to have a Foreman, sup intendant, manager, etc? Or does this stands for some

other costs or services we have to provide to the agency? Pease confirm.



Response: Contractor cost for Labor, Equipment and Material Cost.
