Sweet Grass Development, Inc., the owner of Parcel's 1-68, 1-68 Rem etc., Est. Bakkeroe, St.

Thomas, Virgin Islands is in the process of requesting a rezoning of the above identified properties

through the Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR), rezoned from R-1 to R-3.



This rezoning is essential to support the development of Workforce Housing planned by the

contractor. It is important to highlight that this project is of critical importance to our

community, as it will enable the Government of the Virgin Islands to provide the services in

hopes to expedite the rebuilding of our territory's schools, hospitals, government facilities,

and other vital infrastructure.



Given the scale and urgency of this initiative, as well as the significant number of projects still

in the pipeline, this matter is regarded as an economic emergency for our community and the

Territory. Please be assured that as the contractor, we will make every effort to minimize the

impact on the local geography within reasonable limits.
