To amend title 10, United States Code, to increase the 
number of persons appointed to the military service acad-
emies from Guam and the Virgin Islands from nomina-
tions made by the Delegate in Congress from Guam 
and the Delegate in Congress from the Virgin Islands.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

(a) UNITED STATES MILITARY ACADEMY.—Section 
6
4342(a) of title 10, United States Code, is amended in

paragraphs (6) and (8) by striking ‘‘Two’’ and inserting

‘‘Three’’.

(b) UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY.—Section 
3
6954(a) of such title is amended in paragraphs (6) and

(8) by striking ‘‘Two’’ and inserting ‘‘Three’’.

(c) UNITED STATES AIR FORCE ACADEMY.—Section 
6
9342(a) of such title is amended in paragraphs (6) and 
7
(8) by striking ‘‘Two’’ and inserting ‘‘Three’’.

(d) EFFECTIVE DATE.—The amendments made by 
9
this section shall apply with respect to the nomination of 
10
candidates for appointment to the United States Military 
11
Academy, the United States Naval Academy, and the 
12
United States Air Force Academy for classes entering 
13
these military service academies after the date of the en-
14
actment of this Act.
