February 21 CHARLOTTE AMALIE—Director Nominee of the Virgin Islands Fire Service (VIFS) Daryl A. George announced the reopening of Tango Company Fire Station in Estate Fortuna on St. Thomas Wednesday after a burnout to the building’s power meter caused the station to lose power and forcing its closure late Sunday afternoon. The Virgin Islands Fire Service Director Nominee said Wednesday the matter was corrected and the Tango Company Fire Station has resumed regular operation.
