VIRGIN ISLANDS CASINO COMMISSION INVITES THE PUBLIC TO JOIN IN THE 
30TH ANNIVERSARY KICK-OFF EVENT ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23, 2025 
 
ST. CROIX, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – In commemoration of the Virgin Islands Casino and 
Resort Control Act of 1995, the Commission cordially invites the general public to join in the 
celebration of its 30th Anniversary Kick-Off event to be held at the Eileen Ramona Petersen 
Casino Control Commission Building located at 3005 Orange Grove, Christiansted, St. Croix on 
Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  
 
This festive occasion promises to be an enlightening experience, shining a light on the pivotal 
role the Commission has played, and continues to play,  in shaping the landscape of the casino 
industry on St. Croix.  At the event, we are excited for you to engage with our Commissioners, 
Executive Staff, and dedicated Casino Inspectors.   A light fare will be served, and live 
entertainment will be provided by our distinguished musical icons Stanley and the Ten Sleepless 
Knights, as well as performances by quadrille dancers and mocko jumbies 
 
This kick-off event marks the first in a series of community-based events scheduled for the year.
