To authorize the acquisition of land for Virgin Islands 
National Park, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the "Virgin Islands Na-
5 tional Park Land Acquisition Act of 2010".

SEC. 2. ACQUISITION AUTHORITY; BOUNDARY ADJUST-
7 
MENT; ADMINISTRATION.

(a) IN GENERAL.—Subject to subsection (b), the Sec-
9 retary of the Interior (Secretary) is authorized to acquire 
10 by donation approximately 3 acres of land located at 6S

1 Hansen Bay and known as Pleasant Lookout, in St. John, 
2 U.S. Virgin Islands, as generally depicted on the map enti-

(b) CONDITION FOR ACQUISITION.—The Secretary 
6 may acquire the property identified in this Act only if the 
7 Secretary determines that the addition of the property to 
8 the Virgin Islands National Park would contribute to the 
9 range of natural, cultural, or historic resources that the 
10 park protects and makes available for the benefit of the 
11 public.

(c) AVAILABILITY OF MAP.—The map referred to in 
13 subsection (a) shall be on file and available for inspection 
14 in the appropriate offices of the National Park Service.

(d) 
BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT; ADMINISTRATION.— 
16 Land acquired pursuant to this Act shall be added to the 
17 Virgin Islands National Park and the boundary of the 
18 park shall be adjusted accordingly. The acquired land shall 
19 be administered by the Secretary as part of the park in 
20 accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
