Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  Title 25, chapter 16, section 404, Virgin Islands Code, is amended as

follows:

(a) 
In subsection (h) inserting the following after “limited use.”: “However, subject to 
4 
confiscation of the vessel, in no case shall the Department designate, permit or allow a vessel 
5 
to anchor or moor at the following locations: Magens Bay, Brewers Bay, Christmas Cove, 
6 
Morning Star, Outer Brass, Vessup Bay, Blue Beards Beach, Linquist Beach , Bolongo Beach 
7 
and Santa Maria Bay on St. Thomas and Cramers Park, Teague Bay, South Gate, and Cotton 
8 
Valley on St. Croix.”

BILL SUMMARY

Section 1 of this  Bill amends title 25, chapter 16, section 404 of the Virgin Islands Code

to prohibit anchoring and mooring at certain locations within the territorial waters of  the Virgin

Islands.
