AUTHENTIC VI MADRAS FABRIC NOW AVAILABLE 
 
The Virgin Islands Council on the Arts (VICA) is excited to announce that the official 
Virgin Islands Madras fabric is now available for purchase. We sincerely apologize for 
the delay due to manufacturing challenges and greatly appreciate the community's 
patience and continued support. VICA remains dedicated to making the official Madras 
fabric accessible to everyone. 
This vibrant Madras, a symbol of Virgin Islands heritage and culture, can now be 
purchased at the following locations:

The Fabric Store and L & C Milliner, St. Thomas 
• 
Ebbe’s Fabric Store, St. Croix 
 
Furthermore, the official Madras fabric is available for direct purchase from the Virgin 
Islands Council on the Arts. For more information or to place an order, please contact

Please note that there are several imitation versions of the fabric. The genuine Madras, 
which is pictured below, features distinct markings as outlined in ACT No. 8424.

and enthusiasm for the Madras initiative.
