Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  Title 3 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 27, section 715, subsection (c) is

amended by striking “, with the advice and consent of the Legislature,”.

BILL SUMMARY

This bill amends the provision governing the appointment process of the Government 
5 
Employees Retirement System Board of Trustees for appointment of the System’s 
6 
Administrator by abolishing the requirement for the Legislature’s advice and consent to the 
7 
appointment.
